Theta Equity Partners (“Theta”) collects the following data:
1) Data collected on the basis of consent
Email address, Phone number: this data is provided by you and collected when you subscribe for our newsletter
Retention period: the aforementioned data is retained indefinitely so we can keep you informed until you unsubscribe
Email address, Name, Employer, Position at employer: this data is collected when you explicitly opt-in to be contacted by us when using our software
Retention period: the aforementioned data is retained for one year. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data.
2) Data collected on the basis of legitimate interest
Based on our legitimate interests, we collect the following data for the purpose of running this website.
The website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States and allows us to notice trends to improve the user experience on our website. This build processes personal data such as: the unique User ID set by Google Analytics, the date and time, the title of the page being viewed, the URL of the page being viewed, the URL of the page that was viewed prior to the current page, the screen resolution, the time in local timezone, the files that were clicked on and downloaded, the links clicked on to an outside domain, the type of device, and the country, region, and city.
Retention period: 26 months. Once this time period has expired, Google will delete the data.
You may opt out of this tracking at any time by activating the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser.
How will we use your data?
Theta collects your data so that we can:
- Email you with our research articles, company updates, our marketing materials
- Notice trends to improve the user experience on our website
Theta does not use your data for any other purposes or share it with third parties. Your Email address data may be pulled by mailing list services, such as MailChimp, in order to send you our newsletter. Your data is removed upon your request.
